Theatre Arts Conservatory, a program of Plan-B Theatre Company presents:

"The Spider and the Bee"

(SALT LAKE CITY) - Based on Jonathan Swift's story "Battle of the Books" this play for young audiences finds a serious spider and a lighthearted bee in the great debate of science vs. art. A trial is held during which the audience becomes the jury and must decide the victor. Loaded with broad humor and fun, as well as food for thought. Featuring the students of Theatre Arts Conservatory and directed by Colleen Lewis the show runs Monday June, 2 and Tuesday, June 3 in the Studio Theatre of the Rose Wagner, 138 W. 300 S., Salt Lake City.

"How to Eat Like a Child"

(SALT LAKE CITY) - In this hilarious musical romp, kids give lessons in such important skills as how to beg for a dog, how to torture your sister, how to act after being sent to your room, and how to laugh hysterically. Fans of Ephron's book will love it! Featuring the students of Theatre Arts Conservatory, directed by Colleen Lewis with music direction by Jay Gundersen, the show runs Friday June, 20 and Saturday, June 21 in the Black Box Theatre of the Rose Wagner, 138 W. 300 S., Salt Lake City.

ABOUT THEATRE ARTS CONSERVATORY

The Theatre Arts Conservatory is a 501(c)(3) Utah nonprofit, formed in February of 2004, dedicated to inspiring young people through theatre arts education. We believe that the study of theatre arts nurtures the development of essential life skills as well as creating a discriminating audience for the future. It is our mission to provide theatre experiences as student, performer and audience to children of all cultural heritages, economic backgrounds, ages and abilities. In the past four years the Theatre Arts Conservatory has taught over 600 students and has taken educational touring productions to over 8,000 elementary students in Utah.
